Here’s what you can expect: Your first week using our CBD Facial Cleansing Oil may cause some blemishes to surface. As oil is drawn up and out of your pores, dead skin cells can form a barrier preventing its release…but here’s a solution that will help. Exfoliate with a gentle scrub (consider making your own with a liquid face cleanser mixed with a little baking soda) every 2-3 days during the first week you will minimize your risk of blemishes. After that you will find your pores to be much less congested and oil production will be reduced due to the CBD.

Recommended Steps & Helpful Tips:

1. Apply a warm washcloth to face for 10-15 seconds to open pores.

Tip: Place damp washcloth in microwave for 15-30 seconds. If washcloth is TOO hot, shake until it’s cool enough to put on your face. The microwave technique keeps you from having to waste water and helps avoid burning your hands when wringing it out. 

2. Massage a quarter-sized amount of product into face for 2-5 minutes.

Tip: The longer the massage the deeper the cleanse. After approximately 2 minutes you may feel particles (like grains of sand) on your fingers. This is surface dirt and plugs of hardened oil that have been drawn out from your pores. Facial massage is excellent for reducing wrinkles. Make sure to concentrate on areas that are congested (nose, upper cheeks, around the mouth), areas where fine lines gather (such as around the eyes and mouth) and along the chin line. 

3. Remove oil with warm washcloth and finish with serum or moisturizer if desired.

Tip: Some people will find no moisturizer is needed after using CBD Facial Cleansing Oil. Others may feel slightly tight and will want to follow with a serum/moisturizer.
